Notably, the meeting was held with Union Minister Amit Shah in the special presence of Deputy Chief Minister, Health Department officials. Discussions were held on the status of the Korona case in the state and the issue of lockdown and curfew was also discussed.

According to figures released by the state government, 3280 cases of corona have been reported in the state in the last 24 hours and 2167 patients have recovered. So far, 3,02,932 patients have been released from the corona. So today 17 people have died during treatment.


Thus far 4598 people have died due to corona in Gujarat. Corona's case has risen more alarmingly today than it did yesterday, and the death toll is rising. There are currently 171 people on ventilators in the state. The number of active cases has reached 17348.


At one time there were not so many cases of corona in Gujarat only in Ahmedabad


Notably, at the beginning of the second wave of Corona, there were 200-300 cases across the state, while the number of active cases also reached around 1000, but since then the situation has worsened in Ahmedabad and Surat.
