How to know your CIBIL score?


Nowadays people take the help of personal loans to meet their needs. Whether or not you get a personal loan depends to some extent on your CIBIL score. A good Sibyl score helps you approve a loan. Loans at low interest rates are possible with a good Sibyl score.


A CIBIL score of 750 or higher is good

Sibyl scores range from 300 to 900. It is easier to get a loan if the score is 750 or more. The better the Sibyl score, the easier it is to get a loan. The CIBIL score is based on a 24 month credit history. The Credit Information Bureau (India) Limited is the agency providing CIBIL scores in India.


How to know your CIBIL score?

Step 1- Visit Sibil's website www.cibil.com.

Step 2- Click Get Your Free CIBIL Score on the home page.

Step 3 - Enter your name, email ID and create a password. Then select any of your ID proofs (Passport Number, PAN Card Number, Aadhar Card or Water ID Number). Then enter your zip code, date of birth and phone number.

Step 4- After providing all the information, click on Accept and Continue.

Step 5 - Enter the One Time Password (OTP) on your phone and click Continue.

Step 6- ‘Your registration is successful’, this message will come to you. Then go to the dashboard of the website.

Step 7- Your CIBIL score will be in front of you.

Don't click on popups on the website.


On what does the Sibyl score depend?

The 30% Sibyl score depends on whether you are repaying the loan on time or not. 25% depends on secured or unsecured loan, 25% on credit exposure and 20% on loan utilization.
