Only then could an application be made to change the address in the Aadhaar card. But now this work can be done online sitting at home. No need to go to the support center for this.
The application process on the website
If you also want to change the address in the Aadhaar card, the process is quite simple.
1. First go to the official website of UIDAI https://uidai.gov.in/.
2. Click on Address Request (Online) here.
3. Doing so will open a new window. Click on the Update Address option here.
4. Then log in by entering the Aadhaar card number.
5. Then fill in whatever details you want.
6. After filling in all the details, upload a PDF copy of the Rent Agreement.
7. As the process progresses, an OTP will appear on your mobile.
8. After filling OTP, press Submit button. Just doing so will keep your request going. After a few days, the address in your base will change.
Remember that you will need a rent agreement in this process. Your name should be written in this agreement. Scan the rent agreement at the time of application and upload a PDF copy.

How to change the address by going to the center
If you want to change your address offline instead of online, you have to go to Aadhaar Center. Aadhaar update or correction form has to be filled and submitted here. In addition, you will need to attach a photocopy of your Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Water Card, or Passport. The address in the Aadhaar card will change within a week or 10 days of submitting the form.
